Bio:

Sheku Brima is a dynamic leader and the CEO and founder of the Vitality Youth Network, where he is dedicated to transforming lives through health and education. With a commitment to empowering young individuals, Sheku has successfully fostered initiatives that support vulnerable and underserved populations, driving meaningful change in his community.

As a proactive and growth-oriented professional, Sheku is passionate about making a positive impact in the healthcare sector. He currently serves as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Lunsar in the School of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences, where he inspires and guides the next generation of healthcare professionals.

Sheku’s commitment to social impact extends to his role as the Country Engagement Officer for AIIDEV Africa, where he advocates for innovation and development across the continent. He is also proud to be a fellow of the Young Africa Leaders Initiative (YALI) Regional Leadership Center for West Africa, further enhancing his leadership skills and network. Continually seeking new challenges and knowledge, Sheku is pursuing an MSc in Global Health at the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, equipping himself with the tools to tackle pressing global health issues. His experience at the 34 Military Hospital in Freetown exemplifies his dedication to clinical care, offering support not just to patients but also their families during critical times.

DEPUTY EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Precilia Precious Salia-Konneh
Deputy Executive Director

In the role of Deputy Executive Director, Precilia Precious Salia-Konneh collaborates with the executive team to develop and implement organisational goals and policies.

Bio:

Precilia Precious Salia-Konneh is a licensed and experienced Registered Nurse (BSN-RN) with over six years of dedicated service in clinical care, public health, and youth empowerment. She currently serves as the Deputy Executive Officer of Vitality Youth Network, where she leads strategic initiatives focused on improving health awareness, youth engagement, and community development across Sierra Leone.

Her nursing journey began at Bo Government Hospital in the Southern Province, where she volunteered for one year before transitioning into a full-time paid role, serving for an additional three to four years. Demonstrating strong clinical skills and leadership, she was later transferred to Lumley Government Hospital in Freetown. There, she initially worked as a Registered Nurse before earning her promotion to Nursing Officer (NO)—a rank reflective of her academic qualification and professional competence as a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) holder.

Precilia currently works in the Expanded Programme on Immunization (EPI) Unit at Lumley Government Hospital, contributing meaningfully to nationwide public health efforts.

She holds several certifications, including ETAT Plus (Emergency Triage Assessment and Treatment) and multiple Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) trainings, which reinforce her strong foundation in emergency response and disease prevention.

As an active and fully compliant member of Vitality Youth Network since 2023, Precilia Precious Salia-Konneh has consistently demonstrated passion, integrity, and accountability in advancing the organisation’s mission. Her leadership is marked by a strong sense of purpose, a commitment to excellence, and a vision for healthier, empowered communities.

SECRETARY GENERAL

IBRAHIM KABBA
Secretary General

In his capacity as Secretary General, Ibrahim Kabba is responsible for the comprehensive oversight of the organizational framework. He facilitates effective communication among team members and external parties, handles record keeping and ensures that all procedures are followed to the letter.

Bio:

Ibrahim Kabba is a medical student currently pursuing his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree, making him a future Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon (OMFS). He began his medical journey with a strong academic foundation, having completed four years in the MBChB program with excellence in core medical sciences. His transition into dentistry was inspired by a national initiative to establish a strong dental health system in Sierra Leone. Ibrahim is the current Secretary-General of the Vitality Youth Network.

From 2017 to 2018, Ibrahim served as an associate member of the Kenema Global Science and Medicine Philanthropy Network, where he collaborated with healthcare professionals to deliver critical health education and treatment for communicable diseases. Between 2019 and 2020, he worked extensively in rural outreach programs across Kenema and Kailahun Districts, helping extend healthcare access to some of Sierra Leone’s most underserved populations.

Throughout his academic and professional journey, Ibrahim has worked with numerous interdisciplinary medical teams, offering both traditional and clinical health support across diverse populations. His experiences reflect a deep commitment to community-based care, youth engagement, and strategic health advocacy.

In his role as Secretary-General of Vitality Youth Network, Ibrahim brings visionary leadership, a strong ethical foundation, and a results-driven approach to project development. He remains dedicated to leveraging his medical expertise and networks to expand the organisation’s impact nationwide, bridging the gap between youth potential, education, and healthcare equity.

Head of Operations

Swaliho S. Bawoh is responsible for overseeing the operations of the directors, ensuring efficient processes and coordination among team members.

PROJECT MANAGER

SHEKU MOMOH
Director of Programs/Project Manager

As the Director of Programs/Project Manager, Sheku Momoh is responsible for planning, executing, and finalising projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors.

Bio:

Sheku Momoh is a future Fahambyte career and mentorship program fellow.He has currently acquired a certificate of completion in FANAMBYTE Future Career Explore Phase Courses in Business, Entrepreneurship, Agriculture Innovation, Degital Space, Waste Recycling, Education Sustainability, Food, Hospitality and Tourism, Sustainable Development Goals Education, Real Estate, Renewable Energy, Health and Wellbeing, Leadership and Workplace Career Advancement.

Sheku has worked at the international rescue Committee in the Women’s Protection and Empowerment Program. He oversees the implementation of programs on GBV whilst engaging with duty bearers on the other hand, thus,referencing his experience in GBV case management, rapid assessment, advocacy and at the same token working with men in a discussion group series model meant to reduced violence especially intimate partner violence (IPV) between men and women living the same household and community at large.

Beginning from 2016- 2019, Sheku held several positions in which he co-lead and manage the day to day running of the WGPE program office in Kenema. Work directly with communities across all aspects of WGPE programming.

Sheku serve as contact tracers supervisor during the the out break of the Ebola virus in 2014 where he motivate contact tracers, communicate, monitor and provide feedback to surveillance officer.

In 2013- 2015, he was the community engagement Officer working with a host of women’s financial services groups.

Sheku is currently working at the Anti Trafficking In Person Task Force Secretariat in the protection directorate to enable community stakeholders to report human trafficking for preventive actions, identify and refer victims for protective services.

Kellie J. Senesie, as the Director of Volunteers Recruitment and Capacity Building, oversees the process of recruiting volunteers and creating training programs to foster their growth and contribution to the organization.

As the Director of Procurement and Logistics, Mustapha Lahai is responsible for managing procurement processes and coordinating logistics to optimise the flow of goods and services.
